We are a very small kennel in Texas. We live with our pets/dogs every day. We are different that many breeders, because to us these are not just some dogs, but our best friends and family. This breed is passing thru hard times, and we are here to support. More than ever we want good people to own these dogs and help us uplift the positive image of our breed. We are registered with the ADBA and AADR. We also are a registered business with our county and pay the proper taxes for our pet’s sales. Today we are down to just a few dogs and most of them are mixed breeds.
We have spent a lot of time and money to acquire what we know is some of the best American Pit Bull Terrier stock in the world today. We have been working hard to create a consistent batch of sounded, well build, loving pets. Our goal is to take our breed though our dogs to the next level of the APBT as a family pet. Hard work, devotion, consistency, commitment and staying on task are just some of our main reasons for our success. We searched the world for the best specimen and highest percentage producers to compose what we have today. We spend hours of joy every day seen our dogs play, and enjoy themselves.
We stated by keeping all the pups from the very few litters we had. It is very hard to give them or sale them once you fall in love with them. Time after time is hard to sale our pups as we fall in love with them. Today we want outstanding people to have the same opportunity we have, to own one of ours. The Cheyenne dogs have shown to be the most consistent pets that have the body type we are looking for to win in a confirmation ADBA, AADR show, or weight pulling show. Today we offer some of the best stud dogs and breeding to the public. Please DO NOT ask for a fighting dog, because we will not want to speak with you. We love our pets and do not want you to fight them.
Our dogs are very expensive to maintain so our sales and services are some of the best and not the cheapest anywhere. Our goal as breeders is to learn the history of our dogs' ancestors so we can make better dogs today. We work very hard to promote the breed of the APBT in a positive way. We work very hard to show that the APBT is a great family pet. You will get the same quality pets we use and show. We believe that the American Pit Bull Terrier is a very important part of our nation's history. They are the ultimate dogs and pets. They are a true representative of the American spirit by showing their strength and loyalty to their others. We want our dogs to have a great life of joy, and not to be abuse so: There are some rules on how to get a pup from us.
1) You most prove that you have a good job for more that 2 years
2) You have to fax us our purchase agreement.
3) You need to have 2 people that know you for more than 2 years and that can be use as reference to show that you are a good pet owner.
4) Any proof of previous good care to pets, pictures, vet letters, etc.
5) We reserve the right to deny a sale to anyone who we feel can not be an appropriate pet owner.
6) We will discount the price of a pup , or breeding to any celebrity that can/will promote the positive image of the breed. I may even give one away to someone that can show the world how great these pets are.

We raise our dogs with the best nutrition and care. We raise and promote our dogs to responsible owners, since we care so much about our dogs. Our dogs get the best nutrition and care possible from our veterinarian. Our yard routinely gets check every 3 months to ensure that we maintain a clean and healthy yard. We show our affection to our dogs by alternating them inside our home and playing with them to show them that they are part of our lives.
We raise, breed, use, condition, these dogs with the intention to participate in legal competition!

No Dogs sold, raised or bred for illegal purposes. We participate in A.D.B.A. & A.A.D.R. conformation shows, weight pulling, and boar hunting on a yearly basis. None of our dogs are people aggressive. We have registered our kennel with the A.D.B.A. One of our goals as Pit bull owner is to try and educate our community in keeping our breed strong, alive, and not misunderstood by the general public. We do not breed man bitters, all our dogs are people friendly, strong and Great Hunters.
We will not sell any dog to anyone under 18 years old. We will not sell a dog or pup to any irresponsible person. These dogs require a lot of hard work and care. They are very hyper and need a lot of time and attention. If you don't have the time or patience please, then you should look towards a different breed of dogs.
Openhouse Kennels is not responsible in anyway for the out come of your pup or dog that is purchased. All sales are "AS IS"; it's your duty to provide all the proper mental & medical attention your dog needs. If your dog breaks anything or hurts anyone (AS ANY ANIMAL CAN & MIGHT) it is the responsibility of the individual. Openhouse Kennels takes NO responsibility for the actions or does of any grown dog or pup sold by this Kennel.
After all the negative image the has been created to destroy the APBT, we have decided;
WE WILL NOT GIVE OUT ANY REGISTRATION PAPER TO ANYONE THAT DOES NOT SHOW US PROOF THAT HE/SHE HAS USED OUR DOG FOR LEGAL EVENTS. In other words you will need to show the pup in a ADBA/AADR/UKC event and prove it with pictures, and registration papers. You can call me for details. We need to show the enemies of the breed that we are all good people, and that not everyone with an APBT is a criminal. Just as not every Hispanic is a wetback, or a thug or thief, nor every Afro American person is a criminal. This country is going down in the hands of the irresponsible media, and the stereotyping agencies, that want to enrich themselves. I will ask for positive pictures as well. This is the only way I will sign papers. This way I will have a guaranty that you have shown our dogs in a legal way. If you do not want to do this, please do not call or email. Please do not assume that I may make an exception for you. If you hate the APBT or their responsible owners please leave this web site. If those agencies care so much about the dogs in general they should support the legal events that our clubs have. However they only talk about the negative events, and missed judge many good people. We love our pets so much that we have videos of everyone of our dogs, playing , having fun, in the house, in the chain,some of them competing at legal shows. We condition these dogs with the intention of showing them in open competition at A.A.D.R. and A.D.B.A. Confirmation and weight pulling shows. We have won with them many times and it's in the books. We also participate in boar hunting. We condition our dog for hunting as we want our dogs to be in top shape. We also provide them with GREAT care and LOVE afterwards. Boar hunting is a blood sport that is 100% legal in the USA. We also condition our dogs for weight pulling contest. The dogs in better shape are the ones that win.
If you're looking for a laid back type of dog, lazy that sits in a corner looking into space you need to look someplace else. If you're looking for a dog to make him people aggressive YOU REALLY NEED TO LOOK SOMEPLACE ELSE!!! If you're looking for an ordinary dog, nothing special, and or your happy settling for second best, LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE!
In order to make a purchase a dog or puppy from our kennel, you need to provide references that will state your credibility as a dog owner. Showing dogs on sanctioned ADBA shows will be a plus.
Our kennels have received high markings from other breeders, conformation judges, and other owners who just want the best dogs.
