PET WALKER - PET WALKER/RUNNERS are used by all sorts of different dog owners. Some use them to condition their dogs to look good for conformation shows. There are 100 of pictures,and web sites of all kinds of dog working mills. people that show their dogs at the westheimer dog show use them all the time. There should be no reason why a good APBT owner should not keep his/her dog/pet healty. It is a responsability. There is a TV show in animal planet were a man they called the whisper said that a good owner should excercise his dog at lease an hour a day. I agree pets need to be healty.
Excercising your dog for a conformation show gives you a competitive edge because the judges look for an all around athlete when it comes to conformation. They don't want to see a dog that is fat or too skinny. They look for a dog that looks like he is excercised on a daily basis. Working your dog 10 minutes a day will make all of the difference whether or not you come home with the trophy from a conformation show. Another use for a treadmill is in weight pulling contests. The obejective in a weight pulling contest is for a dog to pull as much weight as they can. What more can you ask for if you work your dog on a hard pulling mill for a few minutes a day. The dog will be stronger than the average who does not work a mill.

Here on following video is "The opinion of a good pet owner". One that really does NOT know much about nutricion, or how to exercise a dog properly. First of all, feeding a dog while he is runing is really BAD. Please do NOT lisen to that part. Second, she said that a leash is abusive, however in the previous video (the one above) international top dog show EXPERTS are using leashes. This shows you that YES dogs need to be exercised even by the humaniacs and vegeterian.

Amazing I was right!!humaniac all the way. However I do not want to profile like they do (HSUS and PETA) to hispanic, blacks and meat eaters etc. I could say she is gay by her short hair cut, but I wont plus it is none of my business what is her sexual preference. Notice the lock of muscle tone on the dog, the lazy way she moves and low spirit to run. Compare it to Ch Angus on the video below and see how much happier, eager to work, and nice muscle tone he has. Ch Angus is owned by a good responsable woman who is not a dog fighter. Increadable! That ladie is giving seminars and charging money. The HSUS is all about money. When she hardly know much about dogs. Ok granted two or 3 cheese tricks. I guess that is the beauty of America, we should respect everyone's opinions. I have nothing against gays, or vegeterians, or their opinion on their dogs. Wow giving the dog breakfast, I guess the dog gets 3 meals a day like a human (that is maybe why she, the dog is so fat). However, most do not know crap about the APBT. Now they want to work their pets, but if you own a APBT and work him, you are a potential dog fighter and a criminal. See some APBT having fun. Do the right thing do not do dog fighting. However work your dogs. Be aware of the idiots from the agencies that want to make every APBT look like a bad dog. Make positve videos of your pets. Keep records in house and in a second location, keep your vets updated with any kennel accidents etc. Kennel accidents do happen to every breed. Look at the case in Brooklyn NYC on Jan 08, of the child killed by his dalmation dog, accidents happen, got it, understand!

This is ADBA CH Anaba. A treatmill is not illegal to own or use to assist in conditioning your pets (PETA & HSUS for you silly people that means EXSECISE!) .
Well this shows you clearly, how much they know about treatmills, and APBT conditioning. An APBT is strong, more driven type dog and there are 1000s, of 1000s worked every year around the world for legal reasons. Love your pets, keep them healthy. The dog whisper said work your dogs at least an hour a day (PETA & HSUS you guys know where to find him ANIMAL PLANET! Your favorite place to coorupt minds!). Check it out!!
Note: There are two different types of treadmills. The carpet mill is used to build the necessary strength and muscle mass a dog needs. The second is a slat mill, which leans out the muscles of a dog. A dog worked on a slat mill will look like a runner (for ADBA standards in conformation shows), while a dog worked on a carpet mill will look like a body builder (for ADBA standandrds in weight pull shows).
PARTING (BREAKING) STICK - All responsable dog owners should own a parting stick. It is not illegal to own one. When a pitbull becomes very competive in games like tug of war, there has to be a way to get the dog of the toy when it is time to stop playing. Water or ever physical abuse will demoralize your dog in which they feel that they are getting punished for playing.
CHAIN AND AXLE SETUP - A pitbull cannot be confined in a cable set up that is bought at your local department or grocery store, because they are very strong. They will easily pull the achors off the ground and leave their living quarters. If you use a chain and axle set up, you will know that this set up has withstood the test of time. The chances of having your dog pull out an axle or breaking the chain is very slim. In fact, most pitbulls that get off their chain set up is due to a loose collar.When it cames to chains, it is hard to make people happy. Some agencies may cry that the chains maybe too thin, and the the dogs may came lose easily. Some other maysay that a chain can be too heavy. The best thing is to use common sense. You are the owner. Do what is good for the dog, and for safety.
BREEDING STAND/BOX- A LEGAL TOOL TO BREED TWO DOGS OF DIFFERENT SIZES. A breeding stand is not always necessary, as some females/bitches and male are easy to breed mainly because they are the same size. However, you have some bitches that are an exception. All breeds have an standard. It is important to know that the APBT has in their standard different size dogs. One can have a litter with a 35 , 52, 46 pounds litermate. A breeding stand it becomes a very important tool when you are breeding for example a: 35 lbs female to a 52 male or even more when is the other way around. Breeding the APBT a great pet is legal. It is illegal to be a racist, and to stereotype. There are some ignorant, mean people that call the breeding stand a rape stand, just to make our breed look bad. Just stop and think, rape stand, the agencies enemies of our breed call it that way just to make our dogs and their owner look like the bad guys. There is not such of thing as a rape stand, maybe some book writer being an ignorant called it that way. However it is not , it is as easy as a breeding tool for pets of different size. Dogs are not like humans or apes where they can have different positions to breed. Please make sure you educate the un aware owners, and the idiots. Lets all promote the breed in a positive way. IT IS A BREEDING STAND, NOT A RAPE STAND.
SPRING POLE - One of the most common games for dogs is tug of war. Pitbulls love to use their strength and prove that they can take a rope away from their owner. What better to make them think that by hanging a rope on a tree branch. This will prevent you from injuring yourself if your dog tugs or shakes too hard.
